Orient is an SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified recycled wood chip based board material that has been infused with a polymer using a proprietary infusion process. This acrylic resin infusion process essentially transforms this basic building material into a highly durable surface product that can be used in a variety of high wear project applications.

Like all the TorZo Surface products, Orient is very fabrication friendly. Machining is easy using standard carbide based tooling. Gluing can be done using a Titebond II adhesive, or a 2-part solid surface epoxy. Fabricated projects can be coated using any one of several sustainable coatings, such as water based acrylics or urethanes.
