The system consists of a series of self supported insulation panels which provide a stay-in-place formwork for the concrete slab. Wall angles are reinforced with bent rebar that ties into a grid of rebar over the surface of the roof. The system is monolithic because the roof is poured at the same pour as the tie beams.
