WIND-PACT Plus Commercial Impact Windows offer the perfect glazing solution for PTAC units. Window and HVAC units are combined into one unit. The continuous vertical frame eliminates framing of two openings, required for conventional seperated units, reducing construction time and cost. Welded corners, no mull bar clips, and a built-in J channel, provide protection against water intrusion and air loss, making the PTAC unit energy efficient and beneficial to the health and well-being of occupants.

Designs have been tested for Florida Product Approvals in both impact and non-impact configurations and are Dade County Approved. When ordered with LoE glass, windows will carry the Energy Star® label. The windows are offered in horizontal rollers with limited travel, fixed lites, or divided fixed lites, with a variety of grid patterns to meet the specifications of the hotel chains.

The PTAC system is available in white, adobe and bronze (bronze exterior, white interior) with matching aluminum louvers. An interior sill cap is included to complete the unit and reduce the total cost per opening.
