Additional Information and Specifications: ATAS PermaShake metal roofing panels are non-structural, which simulates the look of wood grained shingles without the maintenance problems associated with such a roof. Metal shake panels have the advantage of fire resistance and will not crack, split, warp, or rot. Aluminum roofing panel PermaShake is installed from eave to ridge with concealed fasteners. Panel should be staggered for a natural appearance. The interlocking modules are fastened with an anchor clip and lock system. Ice and water shield is recommended on entire subtrate. Recommended applications for ATAS metal roofing PermaShake are mansards with a minimum pitch of 5:12.
