The High Capacity Renewable Dehumidifier uses a specialized engineered crystallized silica gel that is odorless, non-toxic and completely safe. These crystals absorb humidity and hold moisture so it cannot leak or spill, up to 10 ounces in 3 - 8 weeks depending on humidity. As moisture is extracted from the air, the indicator on the front of the unit will gradually change from blue to pink signifying that the dehumidifying crystals need to be renewed.

Renewing is as easy as plugging the unit into an electrical outlet in a well ventilated area for several hours. The built in heater warms the crystals, allowing them to release the moisture into the air and drying the crystals. Once the crystals have been fully renewed, the indicator on the unit will return to blue, signifying that the unit is ready to be put back to work.
